In connection with the upcoming entry into force of European Regulation EU 2023/1115 on deforestation – EUDR (EUDR = EU Deforestation Regulation), we would like to inform you that MAKRO Cash & Carry ČR s.r.o. is actively preparing to comply with the requirements of this regulation. We are in contact with our suppliers and are working together to implement a due diligence system that will ensure transparency and compliance with legislation.
We are currently awaiting clarification of the final form of the regulation's requirements and technical solutions, particularly with regard to the form of mandatory data sharing (e.g., Due Diligence Statements). We will inform you as soon as more specific information is available.
Our goal is to ensure full transparency and smooth compliance with all obligations arising from the regulation.
